On 28 October 2015, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR), met with H.E. Boiko Kocev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Russian Federation DECR.

On 9 October 2015, H.E. Zoran Jocović, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to the Russian Federation, visited the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations and was received by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, the DECR chairman. They exchanged opinions on the issues of mutual interest.

On June 23, 2015, Metropolitan Hilarion, head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations (DECR), met with Croatian Ambassador to Russia, Mr. Igor Pokaz, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Moscow.

On June 16, 2015, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations (DECR), met with Slovenia’s ambassador to Russia, H. E. Primož Šeligo, at the DECR.

The DECR chairman and the head of the diplomatic mission of Macedonia in Moscow discussed issues pertaining to the ministry of the Russian Orthodox Church, care for people living in its canonical territory, and the development of relations with Macedonia in education and in the religious and cultural spheres.

Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations (DECR), met with ambassadors of several states of Slavic tradition at the Church of Christ the Saviour.
