On 26 July 2013, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia met with the representatives of the Greek Orthodox Church who are taking part in the celebration of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia – Metropolitan Prokopios of Philippi, Neapolis and Thasos and Archimandrite Ignatios (Sotiriadis).

The meeting took place on the train going from Moscow to Kiev, where celebrations were to continue.
