Acting administrator of the Diocese of Vienna-Austria Bishop Alexis of Caffa meets with Austrian ambassador in Russia

On October 7, Bishop Alexis of Caffa, vicar of the Diocese of Chersonesus, who is acting administrator of the Diocese of Vienna-Austria, met with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Austria to Russia H. E. Johannes Eigner, at the Austrian embassy in Moscow.

Participating in the talk was Dr. Robert Gerschner, Plenipotentiary Minister at the Austrian Embassy in Moscow.

In their talk, held in a friendly atmosphere, they dealt with a wide range of issues concerning the work of the Diocese of Vienna-Austria particularly in the development of inter-confessional and inter-Orthodox cooperation, the work in the pandemic period and promotion of informational and cultural exchange between the two countries, the website of the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Vienna reports.
