St Nicholas Cathedral in Nice nominated for the best architectural monument of France in 2020

The cathedral dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonder-Worker in Nice has been included in the short list of French National Contest for the Best Architectural Monument – 2020.

The contest is held under the aegis of France 3 public TV channel.

Support for the St. Nicholas’s has already been expressed by Nice Mayor Christian Estrosi.

This year, the title of the best architectural monument in France is claimed by fourteen nominees, among them such famous sites as the Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, the Château du Champ-de-Bataillet in Normandy and Belfort Citadel.

The result of the voting will be summed up on July 26.
