CHRIST IS RISEN!

Please accept my cordial greetings with the feast of the Radiant Resurrection of Christ.

On this chosen and holy day we spiritually celebrate the triumph of life over death, for the merciful God “hath quickened us together with Christ… and hath raised us up together… that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus (Eph 2:5-7).

Glorifying the Risen Saviour, I am praying that He grant unto you bodily and spiritual strength. May the Lord give you His generous help in your ministry “for the edifying of the body of Christ” (Eph 4:12).

At our time overshadowed by the spread of the dangerous disease, acquiring particular importance are the joint efforts aimed at strengthening the unity of Orthodoxy, overcoming the schism and tribulations and developing fraternal dialogue and cooperation with the view of maintaining spiritual and physical health of our contemporaries.

Reciprocally I ask you to pray for the strengthening of the Holy Churches of God in the world, for their welfare and unity.

With brotherly love in the Risen Lord,

+KIRILL

PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUSSIA
