On September 17, 2019, the 3d Summer Institute for representatives of the Anglican Church began its work in St. Petersburg. It is organized by the Ss Cyril and Methodius Institute for Post-Graduate Studies (CMI). The delegation is led by Bishop Jonathan Goodall. It includes Rev. Canon James Hawkey, Chaplain to Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom, representatives of the clergy and academic community of the Anglican Church.

On the first day of their visit, the guests came to St. Petersburg Theological Academy, in which its rector Bishop Siluan of Petergof told them about the academic process and projects implemented by the school. Later the delegation set off for the St. Alexander Nevsky Monastery of the Holy Trinity.

In the evening, the guests from the Church of England had a meeting with Orthodox youth at the youth department of the Metropolis of St. Petersburg.

The Summer Institute is held from September 17 to 26 with the support of the Russkiy Mir foundation.
