His Holiness Patriarch Kirill meets with participants in the 5th Summer Institute for representatives of the Roman Catholic Church

On 28^th August 2019, Feast Day of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos, participants in the Summer Institute for representatives of the Roman Catholic Church attended the Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia at the Dormition Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin.

After the Liturgy His Holiness greeted the delegation and noted the importance of the programmes of cultural and academic exchange between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Holy See.

The head of the delegation, Rev. Hyacinthe Destivelle, thanked the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church for the opportunity to visit Russia and expressed his hope that the Summer Institutes tradition will continue.

The Summer Institute for representatives of the Roman Catholic Church is held from 23^rd August to 1^st September under the auspices of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies. The Institute is organized within the framework of academic and humanitarian cooperation between the Moscow Patriarchate and the Holy See with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Urbi et Orbi Catholic Charity Foundation.
