On June 10, 2019, Bishop Arsenije of Nis, Serbian Orthodox Church, who is on a pilgrim trip to holy places of the Russian Orthodox Church, visited the St. Daniel Patriarchal Monastery and the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, in which he was received by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk.

Present at the meeting were also A. Khoshev, s student of the Ss Cyril and Methodius Institute of Post-Graduate Studies (CMI), and the clergy and sub-deacons of the diocese of Nis, who accompanied their archpastor on his pilgrimage.

During the talk, which was held in a warm and fraternal atmosphere, the sides discussed the state of inter-Orthodox relations and prospects for developing cooperation between the Russian and Serbian Orthodox Churches.

In conclusion of the talk, the guests were presented with token of the meeting.
