I cordially greet you on the commemoration day of your heavenly patron, the Holy Great Martyr Theodore the Tyron.
The intercession of this witness of Christ, who even after his death has manifested his wonderful concern for the people of God, gives you strength in your hard ministry as Primate of the Orthodox Church of Alexandria, which you have carried out in love and in the spirit of meekness (1 Cor. 4:21) for the benefit of the flock entrusted to your care.
On this solemn day, I lift up petitions to the Lord so that He may grant peace and prosperity to Your Beatitude and send His abundant help to you in your Primatial work.
