During the night of January 22, 2019, unknown people raided the chapel of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church near the Dubrovka settlement in the Zhitomir region, the UOC synodal information-education department reports. The chapel windows were broken and icons damaged.

Damaged were also the well near the chapel and the spring dedicated to the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God as the vandals threw rubbish and planks into it.

The dean of the Baranovka district, Archpriest Roman Klim, confirmed the above report and said that the police was called and a complaint was filed.
