DECR Vice-Chairman meets with President of Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy

On 10 January 2019, Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, vice-chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR) met with Mr. Sergei Gavrilov, president of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy (IAO) and chairman of the State Duma committee on civil society development.

Discussed at the meeting, which took place at the DECR premises, were the IAO international activities and preparation for the 7^th International Christmas meetings as a part of the upcoming 27^th International Educational Christmas Readings.
