Your Holiness, Beloved Brother and Concelebrant at God’s Altar,

My heart was grieved as I learned about the tragic bus accident that claimed the lives of a large group of pilgrims who were returning from the Monastery of Seven Altars.

I extend to Your Holiness profound condolences on behalf of the hierarchs, clergy, monastics and all the plenitude of the Russian Orthodox Church.

May Our Lord Jesus Christ grant repose to the souls of the victims in the dwellings of the righteous and may He give consolation to their relatives and friends.

With brotherly love in the Lord,
