His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent the following greeting to His Beatitude Hieronymos II with the commemoration day of his heavenly patron:

Your Beatitude,

beloved in the Lord Brother and Concelebrant:

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the commemoration day of your heavenly patron – St. Jerome of Stridonium, a glorious man of faith and renowned translator and interpreter of the Holy Scriptures.

Through the prayers and intercession of the saint may the All-Merciful God help you in your difficult primatial ministry performed for the benefit of your Christian flock going through the hard time of trials.

I wish Your Beatitude spiritual and physical strength, and peace and prosperity to the God-loving Greek people.

With brotherly love in the Lord,

/+ KIRILL/

PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUSSIA
