His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has sent Easter greetings to the heads of foreign states of the Orthodox tradition: President Prokopis Pavlopoulos of the Hellenic Republic; President Rumen Radev of the Republic of Bulgaria; President Nicos Anastasiades of the Republic of Cyprus; President Aleksandar Vučić of the Republic of Serbia, and President Gjorge Ivanov of the Republic of Macedonia. The text reads as follows:

Please accept my heartfelt greetings with the Feast of feasts and the Triumph of triumphs – the Lord’s Passover!

Christ is Risen!

Christ “died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them” (2 Cor 5:15). A life for God includes devotion to ministering the neighbors thus making a creative contribution to the future of human civilization, advance of moral ideals in society, peace and the good neighborly relations among countries and nations.

I wish You fortitude of spiritual and physical powers from the Risen Christ the Saviour and the blessed success in Your noble ministry to Your Fatherland and People.

Respectfully,

+ KIRILL

PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUSSIA
