Beloved in the Lord Brother and Concelebrant,
I cordially greet you with the 10th anniversary of your ascension to the Primatial throne of Archbishops of Athens.
Standing at the helm of the Orthodox Church of Greece in a period of difficulties for the Greek people, you strengthen your flock by the words of paternal consolation and exhortation, showing concern for the success of the clergy and people entrusted to you “in righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness” (1 Tim 6:11).
