Representatives of Ethiopian Church visit Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies

On 17 November 2017, a delegation of the Ethiopian Church consisting of Bishop Abba Philipos of South Omo Diocese and Priest Elias Abrha, Manager of the Ethiopian Church’s Printing Department, currently on a visit to Russia with the blessing of Patriarch-Catholicos Abuna Mathias of Ethiopia and at the invitation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, visited the Ss Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies.

The delegation met with hieromonk Ioann (Kopeikin), pro-rector for academic work and secretary of the Commission for regulating student exchange. The guests were interested in educational programmes, international activities of the Institute and mainly in the experience of student exchange.

Representatives of the Ethiopian Church were given a tour of the Patriarchal Metochion of the Holy Martyr of Chernigov.
