His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will visit Romania from October 27-28, 2017, at the invitation of His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania.

The program will include the participation of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Divine Liturgy on the commemoration day of the heavenly patron of Bucharest, St. Demetrius of Bessarabia and in the events dated for the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of His Beatitude Daniel.

There will also be a meeting of the heads of the Russian and Romanian Orthodox Churches. Patriarch Kirill will address the Holy Synod of the Patriarchate of Romania at a grand meeting devoted to the Year of the Memory of the Defenders of Orthodoxy under the atheistic regime in Romania.

Invited to these events are also Primates and representatives of some other Local Orthodox Churches.
