Your Excellency, dear Mr. Vucic:

I cordially congratulate You on the election to the post of President of the Republic of Serbia. Your victory testifies to the high degree of people’s confidence in You and in the path of development that You have suggested for the country.

I am confident that your many years’ experience of work at different governmental posts will help You at the new one. I hope that with your personal participation good relations between our fraternal nations will be further strengthened, while traditional moral values will be upheld in society. An important contribution to this noble cause is made by the Russian and Serbian Orthodox Churches united by the bonds of love of Christ during centuries.

I wish You good health, God’s help and success in Your responsible labours in future, and peace and prosperity to the Serbian people.
