Metropolitan Hilarion congratulates Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia on the third anniversary of his enthronement
Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, sent the following letter of congratulation to His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav of the Czech Lands and Slovakia on the anniversary of his enthronement:

Please accept my cordial congratulations on the anniversary of your ascension to the Metropolitan throne of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia.
Three years ago You became Primate of the Autocephalous Local Orthodox Church at a difficult time of various trials for her, and You have honourably coped with this challenge.
The holy authorities of the Moscow Patriarchate appreciate your efforts made for the development of traditionally good relations between our Churches and your visit to the Russian Orthodox Church and participated in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.
On this solemn day I prayerfully wish You the inexhaustible spiritual joy, good health and God’s help in Your blessed primatial ministry for many good years to come.
