His Holiness Patriarch Kirill sends condolences to Primate of the Coptic Church over the murder of priest Rafael Moussa
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia offered condolences to His Holiness Coptic Patriarch Tawadros II over the killing of priest Rafael Moussa.
“It was not the first attack on a Christian priest. The murder committed by the terrorists is in the sequence of other crimes targeting the civil population of North Sinai and aimed at frustrating the efforts that the Egyptian people make to fully restore peace in their long-suffering land. I am convinced that these efforts will be crowned with success, because the ideology of killing and destruction will never be able to lay for itself a strong foundation in society,” the letter reads.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill expressed his compassion and support to the relatives and spiritual children of Father Rafael.
