Patriarch Kirill prays at vespers in the St. Panteleimon Monastery
On May 27, 2017, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia prayed at Small Vespers at the cathedral of the St. Panteleimon Monastery on Mount Athos.
Among the worshippers were the abbot of the monastery, Schema-
Archimandrite Jeremiah (Alyokhin), with brethren, members of the official delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church, and Mr. A. Beglov, head of the Presidential working group for preparing the celebration to mark the millennium of the Russian presence on Athos, as well as benefactors of the monastery.
After the service, His Holiness shared a meal with the brethren.
Tomorrow Patriarch Kirill will celebrate the Divine Liturgy in Old Roussik and a thanksgiving at the Xilourgou hermitage.
