Primate of Bulgarian Orthodox Church completes his visit to Russia
On 11 March 2016, His Holiness Patriarch Neofit of Bulgaria completed his visit to the Russian Orthodox Church.
Among those who saw off the Primate of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church at the Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport were Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations; Bishop Tikhon of Podolsk; archpriest Nikolai Balashov, DECR vice-chairman; Archimandrite Feoktist (Dimitrov), representative of the Patriarch of Bulgaria at the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia; Hegumen Feofan (Lukyanov), head of the DECR Protocol Service; archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations; the Moscow clergy; as well as H.E. Mr. Boiko Kocev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Russian Federation.
