To His Reverence Protodeacon Vladimir Nazarkin

Assistant to the chairman of the Moscow Patriarch department for external church relations

Reverend Father,

I cordially congratulate you on the significant date, your 75th birthday, and prayerfully wish you physical strength, God’s inexhaustible help and success in your service for the good of the Holy Church.

For half a century you have zealously worked in the field of Christ setting an example of responsible attitude to every task entrusted to you by the Church Authority.

It is gratifying to note that combining the service of protodeacon and the work in the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations, you invariably seek to show an example of following your vocation. By your attitude to the liturgy, sensitivity and benevolence you have gained well-deserved respect among not only clergy and laity but also many secular people.

I would like to express special appreciation to you for your participation in solemn patriarchal divine services, for your long-standing zealous service at the St. Sergius Laura of the Holy Trinity and for your active involvement in conducting significant church and public events.

In recognition of your zealous work and on the occasion of your birthday, I believe it is proper to award you the Order of St Sergius of Radonezh, first degree.

May the Lord preserve you in good health for many years.

Invoking God’s blessing upon you,

+ Kirill

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia
