The Foundation of the Orthodox Church in Thailand has acquired the ownership of a plot of land adjacent to the Church of All Saints in Pattaya. The plot, which size is 640 square metres, has been purchased thanks to special purpose donations by benefactors.

As the website of the Russian Orthodox Church in Thailand reports, the necessity of purchasing the additional plot of land has been caused by increase in the number of parishioners of the Church of All Saints, as well as by liturgical and economic needs of the parish.

Participants in a joint meeting between the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church’s Representation in the region and the Foundation of the Orthodox Church Committee members will consider plans for constructing in 2016 a lower chapel at the Church of All Saints for celebrating requiem services, a baptistery and some other buildings.
