His Holiness Patriarch Kirill greets heads of foreign states with Pascha

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent Paschal greetings to the heads of states with Orthodox tradition. His Holiness congratulated President Rosen Plevniev of Bulgaria, President George Ivanov of Macedonia, President Traian Băsescu of Romania, President Tomislav Nikolić of Serbia, and President Filip Vujanović of Montenegro. Please accept my cordial Paschal greeting: Christ is risen!

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the radiant feast of Pascha.

The memory of the Resurrection of Christ that crowned the Saviour’s deed on the Cross, calls Christians to be firm in their aspiration to fulfill the commandments of the Gospel, to treat the near and the far ones with love, to order private and public life on the principles of the good, mutual respect and justice, and to make peace and accord among nations.

I wish you spiritual and physical strength and help from the Risen Christ in your responsible ministry.
