His Holiness Patriarch Kirill sent the following message of greeting to His Beatitude Chrysostomos II of New Justiniana and All Cyprus:

Your Beatitude,
beloved in the Lord Brother and Concelebrant at God’s Altar:
I cordially congratulate you on the anniversary of your election as Primate of the Church of Cyprus and the enthronement, and greet you with your Name Day and the 40th anniversary of your ordination to priesthood.
Having continued the labours of your predecessors, you have spent the years of your ministry as the head of the Holy Church of Cyprus in tireless care for spiritual needs of your flock and for the just settlement of the problem of Cyprus.
While being at the holy sites of Jerusalem during these days so remarkable to you, I offer up my prayers for the people of Cyprus, for the prosperity of the Holy Churches of God and for the inexhaustible God’s help to Your Beatitude.
