Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’ Department for External Church Relations meets with Moscow Deputy Mayor

On 29 April 2010, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk met with Moscow deputy mayor S. Baidakov at the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations.

They were joined in the meeting by the chairman of the Moscow’s Committee for Relations with Religious Organizations M. Orlov; deputy chairmen of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations archpriest Nikolai Balashov and hegumen Philipp (Ryabykh), and assistant to the DECR chairman the Revd. Dmitry Ageyev. Discussed were prospects of cooperation between the DECR and the Government of Moscow in international activities of the Russian Orthodox Church, work with compatriots, development of interconfessional relations with the non-Orthodox communities in Moscow, and projects of interregional cooperation.
