Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine expresses condolences over terrorist attacks in Moscow Metro
His Beatitude Vladimir, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, in telegrams sent to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev as well as Russian Ambassador to Ukraine M. Zurabov on behalf of the episcopate, clergy and laity of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, expressed condolences over the tragedy in Moscow Metro.
The message of condolences published on the official website of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church states: ‘The news about the terrorist attacks in Moscow underground has raised the feeling of deep grief and concern in our hearts. We find no justification for these inhumane and anti-human actions which have entailed numerous human victims. We pray that the victims’ may be healed and their families and friends may be given strength and courage. Eternal memory be the slain’.
