Mr. Alexander Visly, director of the Russian State Library, visited on March 23, 2010, Sts Cyril and Methodius Church Post-Graduate School to give a lecture on the work of the Russian main library.

He gave particular attention to the digitalization of book funds and the problem of copyright arising in this connection.

Post-graduate students and doctoral candidates asked him numerous questions. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Mr. Visly’s lecture was preceded by his talk with the School’s pro-rector Archpriest Vladimir Shmaliy and the Academic Council secretary A. Mramornov. They discussed cooperation between the Russian State Library and the Church Post-Graduate School.
