His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russian sent the following message to His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel of Roman on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his episcopal consecration.

beloved Brother in the Lord and Concelebrant:
I cordially congratulate You on the 20th anniversary of Your episcopal consecration.
Your have chosen the way of serving the Lord and His Holy Church from Your youth and committed Yourself to the will of God, trying to follow it in all walks of Your life.
The Lord has numbered You among the assembly of the receivers of the apostolic grace and later raised You to the heights of Primatial ministry that You fulfill with the inherent in You care for the God’s Garden.
On this festive day I wish You strength from the Lord in Your Primatial labours for the good of the Holy Church of Romania. May the Lord keep You in good health for many years.
