Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch for All Belarus, awarded the Order of Friendship

The Supreme State Council of the Union State of the Russian Federation and Republic of Belarus, after its session on Dec. 10. held an award ceremony, in which Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch for All Belarus was awarded, among other dignitaries, the Order of Friendship in recognition of their efforts for strengthening relations between the two nations.

The award ceremony was led by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
