His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia completed his primatial visit to Belarus on 28 September 2009.His Holiness was seen off at the airport in Vitebsk by Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch for All Belarus, Archbishop Dimitry of Vitebsk and Orsha, clergy of the Byelorussian Orthodox Church, as well as Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee A. Kosinets and Byelorussian Council of Ministers’ Commissioner for Religions and Nationalities L. Gulyako.

Before his departure for Moscow, Patriarch Kirill thanked Metropolitan Filaret for having organized and conducted the primatial visit. Addressing the head of the Vitebsk administration, His Holiness wished prosperity and well-being to his region and to Belarus.
