DECR vice-chairman meets with newly appointed Russian Ambassador to Turkey

On 6 August 2013, archpriest Nikolai Balashov, vice-chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, met with H.E. Mr. Andrei Karlov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey. The meeting took place at the DECR premises.

The DECR vice-chairman and Mr. Karlov discussed issues of mutual interest.

Taking part in the meeting was also hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov), staff member of the DECR Secretariat for Inter-Orthodox Relations.
