Meeting of Academic Board of the Church’s post-graduate and doctoral school

Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk summoned the Academic Board of Sts Cyril and Methodius’ Post-Graduate and Doctoral School for a regular session on 11 November 2009 at the department for external church relations. The meeting was attended by the Academic Board members: Archpriest Vladimir Shmaliy, prorector of the Post-Graduate School, Rev. Sergiy Zvonarev, Stefan Vaneian and Mikhail Zheltov, as well as S. Kravets, director of the Orthodox Encyclopedia church research center, V. Legoida, director of the Russian Orthodox Church information department, and A. Mramornov, secretary of the Board.

The meeting discussed the themes of dissertations to be prepared by post-graduate and doctoral students. Their academic guides and consultants were approved.

The Board also adopted a curriculum and performance tests for extramural post-graduate students.
