Inter-Council Presence’s commission on attitude to non-Orthodoxy and other religions meets at DECR

The Inter-Council Presence’s commission on attitude to non-Orthodoxy and other religions met at the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations on 2 September 2011. The meeting was chaired by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk.

The commission discussed a draft document on mixed marriages prepared by a working group set up at the previous meeting. The draft will be finished with the comments taken into consideration and submitted to discussion.

A working group was set up to finish the document on the prayers for the living and deceased non-Orthodox Christians.

The next meeting of the commission is planned for 8 November 2011.
