On 8 November 2010, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, rector of the Ss Cyril and Methodius Postgraduate and Doctoral School of the Russian Orthodox Church presided at the session of its Academic Board.

Members of the Board have gathered to discuss current affairs. It was the first session held at the building of the Postgraduate School at the Chernigov Patriarchal Metochion. Taking part in the session were vice-rector archpriest Vladimir Shmaliy; deputy head of the chair of external church relations Rev. Sergiy Zvonarev; heads of chairs of church art and archeology, church practical studies, Bible studies, history, management and canon law; and also chairman of the Synodal Information department V. Legoida, and secretary of the Board A. Mramornov.

They summed up new admission, considered themes for theses and supervisors and consultants. Also discussed were allowances and framework curriculum for master’s degree.
