President of Ukraine makes a pilgrimage to the Holy Mount Athos

“Orthodox Ukraine” website, referring to the press service of the head of the State of Ukraine, reports that the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich, while on the official visit to the Republic of Greece visited Athens where he met with the President of Greece Karolos Papoulias, visited Thessalonica, and proceeded to Athos. With the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine, the president of the country was accompanied by Archbishop Antoniy of Borispol, rector of the Kievan Theological schools.
