Macedonia’s President Gjordje Ivanov visits Moscow Theological Academy

Macedonia’s President Gjordje Ivanov visited St. Sergius’s Laura of the Holy Trinity, on 10 May 2010. He was taken on a tour of the monastery by its abbot, Archbishop Feognost of Sergiev Posad, the press service of the Moscow Theological Academy has reported.

After the tour, Mr. Ivanov met with the rector of Moscow Theological Academy, Archbishop Yevgeniy of Vereya. He also visited the Church Archeology Museum at the academy. Protodeacon Igor Mikhailov, assistant rector for public relations, took the Macedonia’s president on a guided tour of the museum.
