Archimandrite Isaakiy (Andronik), abbot of the Intercession Hermitage in Goloseyevo is appointed deputy chairman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church’s Department for External Church Relations

On 22 April 2010, Archimandrite Isaakiy (Andronik) was appointed deputy chairman of the Department of External Church Relations of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by the decree of His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine. He will be responsible for the relations with the mass media.

Archimandrite Isaakiy is the abbot of the Intercession Hermitage in Goloseyevo and father confessor of the “The Day of the Baptism of Russia” international public organization.
