On 7 December 2017, the delegation of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia that had taken part in the celebrations marking the centenary of the restoration of the Patriarchate in the Russian Orthodox Church left Moscow.

The delegation included His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, Archbishop Michal of Prague, and Archdeacon Maxim (Durila).

At the Sheremetyevo Airport, the guests were seen off by Metropolitan Sergy of Barnaul and Altai, Bishop Paramon of Bronnitsy, and Archpriest Nikolai Lischenyuk, rector of the Russian Orthodox Church’s Representation in Karlovy Vary.
