His Holiness Patriarch Kirill prays for the Bishops’ Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

On 13 August 2014, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia prayed in the Church of Ss Cyril and Methodius Equal-to-the-Apostles at the Patriarchal and Synodal Spiritual, Administrative and Cultural Centre of the Russian Orthodox Church in the south of Russia for the Bishops’ Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that began its work at the Laura of the Caves in Kiev.

The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church offered prayers of fervent supplication for God’s help to be bestowed on the Council’s work and for a worthy bishop to be elected to the Kievan Metropolitan See, press office of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia reports.
