Recital in memory of Archimandrite Matthews Mormyl to be given in London

A recital in memory of Archimandrite Matthews Mormyl (d. September 15, 2009) will be given on December 10 at St. Peter’s Church, within the Sourozh Musical Evenings in London series.

The male ensemble and children’s choirs of the Cathedral of the Assumption in London as well as soprano Olga Wells will perform Russian liturgical music of the 17^th century, spiritual verses and choral works by Glinka, Mussorgsky, Deacon Serge Trubachev, Yu. Tugarinov and other composers, the official website of the Sourozh Diocese has reported.
