His Holiness Patriarch Kirill’s Message to the Primate of the Albanian Orthodox Church

His Holiness Kirill the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus has sent the following message to His Beatitude Anastasios, archbishop of Tirana and All Albania in connection with the recent infection with coronavirus of the Primate of the Albanian Church.

Your Beatitude,

Beloved in the Lord brother and concelebrant,

It is with profound concern that I received the news that you had fallen ill with coronavirus and have had to be hospitalized.

I pray ardently to the sole Physician of souls and bodies “who heals our infirmities” (Ps 102) that he will soon raise you from the bed of sickness in good health and bodily strength for the continuation of your selfless Primatial ministry, for the good of the confessor Church of Albania and all Orthodoxy.
