Beloved Brother and Concelebrant at God’s Altar:
I wholeheartedly greet Your Holiness with your Name Day – the commemoration day of the Holy Martyr Neophytos, as well as with the 45th anniversary of monastic tonsure that you are celebrating this year.
Having the living word in his heart (cf. Canon to Martyr Neophytos, Ode 5) and having gained the strength of “a perfect man” (Eph 4:13), youth Neophytos glorified the Incarnate Word of God, and now stands before His Throne as a tireless intercessor for mankind.
May Christ the Saviour, by the prayers of this glorious saint, renew Your Holiness’ spiritual and bodily strength and grant unto you peace and His unceasing help in your lofty Patriarchal ministry.
