Hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church concelebrated with Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem on the Feast-day of the Exaltation of the Cross

On 27 September 2019, the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Live-Giving Cross of the Lord, His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

Concelebrating with His Beatitude were hierarchs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church: Metropolitan Pitirim of Nikolaev and Ochakov, Metropolitan Luka of Zaporoje and Melitopol, Bishop Tikhon of Gostomel, vicar of the Metropolia of Kiev, and Bishop Pimen of Dubno, vicar of the Diocese of Rovno.

After the divine service the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Jerusalem led the Procession of the Cross and the office of the Elevation of the Cross at the site of the invention of the Holy Cross of the Lord.

Then His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III received Orthodox pilgrims from Ukraine with their hierarchs and clergy at the Hall of the Throne of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
