Patriarchal Exarch for South-East Asia visits Jakarta
Metropolitan Sergiy of Singapore and South-East Asia, Patriarchal Exarch for South-East Asia, visited the city of Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.
On June 29, 2019, Metropolitan Sergiy celebrated All-Night Vigil at the church dedicated to St. Thomas of the Russian Church Outside Russia.
On June 30, the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost, the day of All the Saints Who Shone Forth in the Russian Land, he presided over the Divine Liturgy at the church of Prince Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles. His Eminence was assisted by Hieromonk Pitirim (Dondenko), secretary of the Exarchate, Archimandrite Oleg (Cherepanin), secretary of the diocese of Thailand, Hieromonk Joasaph (Tandibilang), rector of the St. Vladimir church, and Rev. Boris Bambang Rahadi Setiawan, rector of the St. Thomas church.
After the services, parishioners had an opportunity for a talk with the archpastor.
