Liturgy celebrated for Russian community in Turkish Belek
On June 30, 2019, the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost, the day of the All Saints Who Shone Forth in the Russian Land, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated for the Russian community in Belek, a spa township of Antalya, Turkey.
The liturgy was celebrated with a blessing of His Holiness Patriarchal Kirill of Moscow and All Russia by Rev. Gregory Ivanchoglo, a cleric of the diocese of Belgorod and the pastor for the Moscow Patriarchate faithful in Antalya, Alanya and Belek, and Protodeacon Constantine Bargan, a cleric of the Cathedral Church of Christ the Saviour in Moscow. A prayer was said for the repose of the souls of the dead benefactors and parishioners of the Orthodox community in Belek.
There were some 60 worshippers including Russians, Georgians, Byelorussians, Ukrainians, Moldavians, and Gagauz.
After the liturgy, Fathers George and Constantine had a pastoral talk with the faithful.
