His Holiness Patriarch Kirill chairs session of the Supreme Church Council

On 20 March 2019, a session of the Supreme Church Council of the Russian Orthodox Church took place at the Supreme Church Council’s Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour under chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

At the beginning of the session His Holiness addressed those gathered and dwelt on the preparation of the seminary students for married and family life. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church called the ruling bishops for paying attention to the married and family life of the priests. Then His Holiness presented other agenda items.
