Primate of the Orthodox Church of Antioch celebrates Christmas Liturgy in Damascus

On 25 December 2018, His Beatitude Patriarch John X of the Great Antioch and All the East celebrated the Christmas Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Orthodox Church of Antioch in Damascus.

Concelebrating with the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Antioch were his vicar bishops, as well as Hegumen Arseny (Sokolov), representative of the Patriarchate of Moscow and All Russia to the Patriarchal Throne of Antioch, and clerics of the cathedral.

After the Liturgy His Holiness Patriarch John led a festive procession.

Later that day a reception was given at the Patriarchate of Antioch.
