Primate of Russian Orthodox Church greets His Beatitude Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus with the anniversary of his enthronement and with his Name Day
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia congratulated His Beatitude Archbishop Chrysostomos of New Justiniana and All Cyprus on the anniversary of his enthronement and on his Name Day.
His Beatitude Chrysostomos
Archbishop of New Justiniana and All Cyprus
Your Beatitude, Beloved in the Lord Brother and Concelebrant,
Please accept my cordial greetings with the anniversary of your elevation to the Throne of Their Beatitudes the Archbishops of Cyprus, as well as with your Name Day.
For many years you have been serving God with reverence and godly fear (Heb 12:28), being not slothful in business; fervent in spirit (Rom 12:11), so that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified (2 Thes 3:1). Finding strength in the intercession of your heavenly patron, St. John Chrysostom, whose name you received with the monastic tonsure, you strive to be for the Orthodox people of Cyprus a model of wise leader and a teacher of diligence and forgiveness (Cf. prayer to the saint).
I prayerfully wish Your Beatitude spiritual and bodily strength, peace and God’s unceasing help in your Primatial ministry.
With brotherly love in the Lord,
+KIRILL
PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUSSIA
